Does it feel like you’ve tried everything to release that excess weight?
If losing weight were just a matter of counting calories or reps, anyone could do it—and more people would.
Then why is it sometimes so hard to drop those extra pounds?
If you’re at a loss about why your weight just won’t budge despite your best efforts, you’ve arrived in the right place.
You might have overlooked this deeper reason that’s keeping the weight on.
Imagine for a minute that you are carrying a full suitcase for a weekend trip. Everything you need for yourself on this trip is in this suitcase.
Now imagine that you suddenly take on another person’s belongings.
Where are you going to put them?
Their stuff won’t fit in your suitcase—it’s not big enough. So you end up getting another suitcase that is large enough to hold your stuff and their stuff and still allow you to get to where you’re going.
Your body responds much the same way.
You need a bigger container (body) when you are carrying somebody else’s energy.
You might think it is your duty or obligation to help someone in that way. But it isn’t helping you or them if it removes the other person from dealing with their stuff.
Can you think of someone in your own life who you might’ve taken on their energy?
Return what isn’t yours to carry.
Remember, your body wants to be healthy. It wants you to lose the excess weight. As you clean out the old energy, you free up your body to lose the weight by supporting it in healthy ways.
